Creative Service Assistant - UK/Remote Opportunity

This role will help support the editorial and creative content efforts with tasks such as the creation of engaging content, cut and edit video clips for social media posting and measure the performance of our various platforms. The successful candidate will be someone who is creative, but also process oriented, resourceful and well-written, and a meticulous eye for detail.


  • Work in support of the video editor and brand ambassador to leverage historical data, community feedback, and upcoming trends to develop a variety of content
  • Help manage and drive positive engagement and audience development across social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok
  • Contribute to monitoring public and private engagement on all active platforms
  • Creating, editing and transcribing multimedia (graphics, video)
  • Assisting with the growth of our communities
  • Researching content topics, pop culture trends, hashtags and other emerging social media trends
  • Curate memes and posts, drive meaningful fan engagement, and moderate community to ensure safety of fans
  • Audit link and post-performance to understand audience tendencies


  • 1-2 years in a corporate environment or business setting; preference to digital media, social media, science communication, marketing, or similar professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree considered an asset
  • Must be proficient in using a variety of software’s (MS office suite, Adobe photoshop etc.)
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to multi-task and affectively prioritize
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at any one time
  • Effective communication skills
  • Self motivated with a high level of enthusiasm
